Eglė E. Murauskaitė is a Senior Researcher at the ICONS project at the University of Maryland (USA), responsible for the development and implementation of crisis simulations in Europe. Eglė has been working for more than 10 years on international security and unconventional threat issues ranging from hybrid and grey zone conflicts to nuclear proliferation. Eglė is also a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Vilnius Policy Analysis Institute (VPAI) and co-author of the NARA podcast (formerly Nyla Update). She is a regular commentator on security and US affairs in Lithuanian media. After completing her Master's degree in Security Studies at Sciences Po University of Paris, her extensive international experience includes work and studies in the Netherlands, Egypt, Australia, the US and other countries.
In addition to security and policy issues, Eglė is also actively involved in community and cultural initiatives. Several of her podcasts and sub-events address issues of community. Eglė also moderates cultural debates - at the theatre festival Sirenos 2019, the film festival Šeršėliafam 2017 and elsewhere.
