Eglė Perkumaitė (b. 04.06.1959) graduated from the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts (1966–1977), studied at the Moscow P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 1977–1982, prof. In Tatyana Nikolaeva's class. She acquired the qualification of pianist soloist, concertmaster and chamber ensemble artist. In 1995, interned at the international summer academy courses in Austria, at the "Mozarteum" in Salzburg (Prof. O. Mounier and A. Zakotnik), in 1996-1997 after receiving a Fulbright scholarship - at the University of Miami in the USA (Prof. P. Posnak and Prof. J.R. Floyd), and in 2005 - Having won a Fulbright scholarship for creative and scientific research at the University of Kansas (USA) for the second time in 2006. In 1993-1995 she interned at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, especially in the piano department, in the class of pianist Aldona Dvarionaitė.
