Eglė Stundžiaitė is a Lithuanian soprano who graduated with a master's degree from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater in 2019. In 2018, she participated in the Nord Opera (Norway) courses, and in the same year, she became the first place winner of the 19th edition of the Vincė Jonuškaitė-Zaunienė competition. From 2019 to 2020, Eglė Stundžiaitė also took part in Erasmus internship courses at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, Italy.
Eglė Stundžiaitė has performed with the Kaunas Symphony Orchestra, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, Vilnius Sinfonietta, St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra, and the Musica Humana chamber music ensemble of Lithuania's National Philharmonic. The singer has also participated in masterclasses with David Gowland (Great Britain), Konrad Jarnot (Great Britain), Barbro Marklund Petersone (Norway), Violeta Urmana (Lithuania), Snezana Nena Brzakovic (Germany), Anne Margrethe Dahl (Denmark), Giorgio Proietti (Italy), Giuseppe Sabbatin (Italy), Valeriano Gamgebel (Spain/Georgia), and many others.
Eglė Stundžiaitė has appeared on stage with Kostas Smoriginas (bass-baritone), Liparit Avetysian (tenor), Kristian Benedikt (tenor), and many others. Since 2016, the soloist has actively participated in Vilnius City Opera projects, which are directed by Dalia Ibelhauptaitė. In 2018, the singer debuted in the broadcast of Mikaela G. Bizet's opera "e-Carmen" (conducted by Ričardas Šumila), and in 2019, she played the role of Prilepa in P. I. Tchaikovsky's opera "The Queen of Spades" (conducted by Gintaras Rinkevičius). In 2019, the singer participated in a voice role in the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre's contemporary R. Mačiliūnaitė and I. Galili dance opera "Eternity and One Day" (conducted by Ričardas Šumila).
Eglė Stundžiaitė's repertoire includes not only operas but also chamber and symphonic music. She has performed L. van Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, A. Vivaldi's "Gloria" Mass, and J. Kalco's "Magnificat" Mass. The soloist is an active participant in concerts and auditions not only in Lithuania but also abroad.
