Elena Šešelgytė was born in Vilnius. From 2006, she studied at the Vilnius Juozas Tallat-Kelpša Conservatoire. From 2010, she studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Elena obtained her bachelor's and master's degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of Prof. D. Blumenthal. After her first year in Brussels, Elena won a competition to study in Vienna with the international exchange program "Erasmus". There, she studied with Otto Probst. After completing her master's degree in Belgium, Elena continued her studies in Vienna in the field of chamber music in 2017. In 2009, the pianist became a diploma recipient of the international competition "Settimo Torinese" in Italy and received a special invitation to improve her skills with the world's most renowned educators and musicians: Nelson Delle-Vigne Fabbri, Philippe Entremont, Jean-Philippe Collard, Michel Bérof, Anait Karpova, Jerome Lowenthal. The pianist has performed in Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Austria, Japan, and the USA.
