Elvyra Pazemeckaite

 Lithuanian poet, event organiser.
1979 - graduated from Vilnius University, Faculty of Philology, majoring in Lithuanian language and literature, qualified as a philologist and lecturer. She has worked as a teacher in various schools in Panevėžys, as a manager of artistic projects in Panevėžys Community House, as a correspondent for the daily newspaper "Panevėžio balsas" and the magazine "Laiko balsas", and as a coordinator of the intellectual leisure activities in Panevėžys City Municipality.

She is currently working in the Panevėžys County Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė Public Library as a cultural event organiser. She was one of the organizers of the International Youth Arts Festival "We are coming!" Panevėžys. In 2001, the project was awarded the European Commission's "Gold Star". Since 1998 she has been organising the literary festival "Panevėžys Literary Winter", which is the only literary event of this scale in the Northern Aukštaitija region. Since 2007 the festival has become an international project.

E. Pažemeckaitė's poems are included in the 2007 almanac "Nebylosiu giliau už silą" by Valdemar Kukulas, as well as in other literary almanacs, and have been published in the magazine "Nemunas", and in the daily newspapers of Panevėžys city and county. In 2000 he published a book of poems "Retušuoju gyvenimas" (I am Retouching Life), in 2011 a book of poems "Žiponėlis kielei" (A Song for a Flower).
