young composer from Latvia who is currently particularly interested in themes such as different ways of listening, communication and perception of time. His works are often slow, meditative and carefully shaped. Ernests uses ascetic musical material in his compositions to create conceived soundscapes. He is currently studying at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Lyon as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
