In 1990 he graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts with a master's degree in graphic arts.
A representative of conceptual graphic art, he uses classical graphic techniques to talk about the relationships between people, the inner states of human beings, the relationship with the environment and the society.
He has illustrated a number of books (Fairy Tales of Sleepers, 2007; Noah's Ark. In 2012, it won the main prize of the Algirdas Steponavičius Book Art Triennial, and was awarded the diploma of the most beautiful children's book at the Vilnius Book Fair in 2012), textbooks, and artist's books (Diary, 1997).
