After graduating from Pumpėnai School, he entered Vilnius College in 1998, majoring in photographic technology (lecturer Skirmantas Valiulis[4]).In 1999-2001, he worked as a cameraman-assembler at Panevezys regional television "Pan TV". In 2002-2006 he studied at the Faculty of Theatre and Cinema of the LAMTA, specializing in TV cameraman (supervised by Kornelijus Matuzevičius). 2004.09-2005.01 Studied at the Academy of Arts in Prague, Faculty of Film and TV (FAMU), specialisation in cinematography. Final bachelor's diploma thesis - short feature film "Painiava" (directed by Vytautas Dambrauskas).
