She studied at Jonas Vaitkaus Theater Studio in Kaunas Drama Theater and at that time worked as a painter-decorator. in 1979 joined the Kaunas Drama Theater's troupe of actors. 1981-1985 studied theater and film acting at GITIS (Moscow Lunacharsky State Theater Institute, course director A. Mikhailov and S. Sobinova).
