The world is a strange place for those who only see the worries, hardships, and mundane tasks, as well as for those who only enjoy its beauty and revelry. Filomena Linčiūtė-Vaitiekūnienė has experienced both the warm and cold aspects of life. In 1965, after graduating from the Art Academy, she immediately entered the ever-changing world of theatre, cinema and television, creating set designs and costumes. This is how the first Lithuanian musical "The Devil's Bride" was born, followed by "Peter Pan", "Louis XIV", "Little Red Riding Hood" at the Academic Drama Theatre, "King Matthias I" and "Black Comedy" at the Kaunas Drama Theatre, operettas "Rozmari" and "Silva", the ballet "Aušrinė" at the Kaunas Musical Theatre, and films such as "Fallen Oak Trees" and "Journey to Paradise", and TV shows such as "Barbora Radvilaitė" and "Hedda Gabler", among many others.
