Florent Bergal learned circus techniques on his own at a very young age, then trained at the Toulouse circus arts center in the late 90s. As an acrobat, he quickly turned to dance. He co-founded the traveling circus Rital Brocante, the collective G.Bistaki and the Cie Okobre. Very early on, he devoted himself to pedagogy for circus artists, dancers and actors developing a particular work on the expression of the body in these three scenic fields. He teaches in many countries (France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Argentina, Chile, Taiwan, Japan, United States…) and in prestigious schools such as the CNAC, the Fratellini Academy, the Institut del teatro, the CCN D'Orléans... and more regularly and involved at the Lido in Toulouse for 15 years. He lends his director's perspective to many companies (Cirk VOST, Collectif Sous le Manteaux, My! Laika, etc.). Tango dancer for 15 years, he follows the teachings of Maestros Chicho Frumboli and Federico Moreno and teaches this approach for a creative dance.Giving the circus a choreographic dimension and pushing dance towards the theatrical act, he defends a high-level circus in a powerful and aesthetic tragicomic theatrical universe. His shows are pieces where circus artists, actors and dancers give a part of themselves in the extreme.
