Lithuanian composer, pedagogue. 1985 graduated from the Lithuanian Conservatoire (class of E. Balsis). 1993-97 Studied arts management at the European Academy of Musical Theatre in Austria and Germany. 1982-85 Concertmaster of the Vilnius B. Dvarionas Music School, since 2011 teacher of composition, 1985-88 and since 2010 teacher at the Čiurlionis School of Arts. 1991-94 Deputy Director of the Lithuanian Opera Ballet Theatre. Since 2011 Chairman of the Lithuanian Composers' Union Foundation.
