Heinz Affolter called his trio Appletree. It is the English word "apple", as the musician found out, that is the historical basis of Affolter's surname.

It is also symbolic - since he is playing with his son in the band, it will be possible to see if the apple really is "an apple from an apple tree" on stage. 
 Heinz plays here with two musicians - drummer Dennis Blassnig and bassist Yannick Affolter, who is his son.
