HiveMind - an international Danish powerhouse HiveMind is a young, energetic, fresh and modern jazz band. Rhythms, pure energy and direct sound are the foundation of the HiveMind universe. The band is made up of an international group of people who are all connected in one way or another to the jazz scene in Aalborg, Denmark.

HiveMind is inspired by modern jazz as well as rock, fusion and Latin rhythms, which merge into a mysterious hive mind.

HiveMind's Baltic tour in 2024 will feature piano virtuoso Luka Dgebuadze and saxophone master Toms Rudzinski. Along with the core team of Aalborg guys, Rasmus and Anders, almost born and raised. 

 

For the past few years, HiveMind has been playing and experimenting to create a jazz hybrid that incorporates elements from many genres such as rock, hip hop, Latin music, fusion and jazz. Rasmus and Anders created the band as a means to work with different musicians at the same time. Now, on their first international tour, the band will play with one of the best jazz musicians in the Baltics, Tomas Rudzinski, along with Aalborg-based Georgian pianist Luka Dgebuadze.

HiveMind has been working extensively in Denmark, performing in unusual venues, collaborating with local talent, and has grown into a well-known local band. In the summer of 2024, HiveMind was selected as a showcase band for the international jazz festival Supernova Jazz Blast. The audition panel included booking agents, venue directors, radio presenters and others from Lithuania, Hungary, Spain and Denmark.
