The idea of the ensemble was born out of the desire of the younger generation of ethnomusicicians Marius Mockevičius and Darius Bagdonavičius not only to record traditional musicians, but also to play together with them. The young performers try to take over the still alive techniques of traditional music making from the violinists Vytautas and Česlovas, who play together. 

The group's repertoire includes traditional instrumental pieces: waltzes, polkas, foxtrots and others. Most of them have been taken over from the living tradition by musicians of the older generation. Playing together with Darius and Marius, they say they recharge their youthful energy, and they also swap repertoire with each other.
