What do the world of pipes have in common with improvised music? Kanalizacija, a band that has been around for a year and a half, has been having fun diving through the sewers of improvisation, and has successfully proved that the principles of plumbing apply to the stage as well! 

This band's work is hard to classify - it combines the energies of experimental rock and heavy metal, the echoes of academic music and country music, and the passages of free jazz. 

LMTA graduates have participated with different partners in all major jazz festivals in the country, as well as in Operomanija, Druskomanijos, Sacrum Profanum, Raseiniai Contemporary Music Festival and other events. 

Last year, the group performed as a trio in the VJYP competition and became the winner, winning the nomination in the category of the Best Interpretation of a jazz standard. After this competition, the trio was joined by saxophonist Danielius Pancerovas.
