Accordion students of the Karoliniškės School of Music in Vilnius play the accordion at the junior level, while the students of the VI-VIII.,
In the school's founding year, the accordion orchestra was founded by Prof. Ričardas Sviackevičius, and later led by Kazimieras Balčėtis and Arvydas Kvedaravičius. Since 2013, the orchestra has been led by Vladimir Voskan, and in 2023 Agnė Rimgailaitė joined the orchestra. In 2013, teacher Arvydas Kvedaravičius created the orchestra for the younger grades in order to give the youngest accordionists the opportunity to play in the orchestra and to gain experience in orchestral music. Since 2019, the junior orchestra has been led by Raimonds Ungurs.
Both orchestras actively participate in various festivals and events organised by the school. Often both ensembles perform as a joint accordion orchestra.
