Korallerna is a women's choir in Lund that was founded in 1978 by Eva Svanholm BohlinDuring 2011-2012 the choir was led by Bo Isgar. From autumn 2012, the choir is led by Linda Alexandersson. The choir members are aged 18-28 and the majority are studying at Lund University. Many of the singers have previously studied at music high school. The choir has an advanced repertoire, both sacred (including in Lund's cathedral) and profane. The repertoire includes music by composers such as Giuseppe Verdi, Trond Kverno, Knut Nystedt and Eric Whitacre.The corals have participated in driving competitions in various parts of the world, including in Vienna in 2012, and won several Grand Prix. Among the major successes is that in 2002 the choir won the national competition Tones for millions. In 2012, the choir inaugurated the chamber music festival in Båstad.The Silent Landskape, 2016. commissioned pieces for Korallerna, written by Linda Alexanderssons for women's choir with harp.
