The Francophone Theatre CLEF /Théâtre Francophone CLEF (now the French Theatre Company in Lithuania "Komsa"/La troupe de théâtre francophone en Lituanie "Komsa") is a theatre company created in Vilnius with the aim of initiating Amateur Theatre. In December 2009, CLEF brought together a group of enterprising people who are not professionals in the field, but who have the desire and the potential to create a new kind of French-speaking theatre that opens up a path for personal self-expression. Our theatre company is open to anyone who speaks French and who wants to act or learn to act.The founding of the company in Vilnius is the first step in CLEF's aim to initiate theatre activities in all major cities of Lithuania. The theatre offers its members: presentations of plays both in Lithuania and abroad, improvisations on everyday themes, staging of modern works, a wide space for self-expression, and the opportunity to perform on prestigious Lithuanian stages.
