British rock band formed in 1970. in London. Queen was voted the best British band of all time in a BBC television poll. Their 1985 live show was voted the best live rock show in all of music history. According to the BBC, until 2009 Queen has sold over 300 million albums worldwide.

Out of all the band's records, as many as 18 albums, 18 singles and 10 DVDs have reached the highest places in the charts. in 2001 Queen was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
