The Rokiškis Rudolf Lyman School of Music Symphony Orchestra was born 1.5 years ago, in the spring of 2023, under the direction of Oksana Sadauskienė, and the conductor of the orchestra is Justinas Mačys. The orchestra's distinctive feature is that it is an orchestra of the whole school community, with pupils, teachers, children and adult former pupils playing. Today, 35 pupils and 11 teachers play in the orchestra. Since its foundation, the orchestra has bravely joined the concert life not only of the Rudolf Lyman School of Music in Rokiškis, but also of the whole country. The orchestra presented concert programmes at the festival "Sounding Spring 2024" in Biržai, the annual festival "Winter Music" of the Rokiškis Rudolf Lyman School of Music, and has become a collective representing the Rokiškis Rudolf Lyman School of Music, the city of Rokiškis and the whole Rokiškis district. The orchestra's repertoire is wide-ranging - from classical to contemporary music.
