As its patron, the schola adopted St. Casimir, the patron saint of young people and also the main patron of the Diocese of Vilnius and the Bialystok Church Province. The Schola sees its mission in the artistic performance of church singing in a historically informed way and in its propagation. Mariusz Perkowski is the artistic director of the ensemble.
Schola debuted at the Łapskie Te Deum Festival of Sacred Songs in 2008. Since then, he has participated in numerous concerts that are an attempt to musically reconstruct the services of the 17th and 18th centuries, performing monodic singing. In this regard, he constantly cooperates with the Early Music Ensemble Diletto. In this capacity, she also collaborated with the Polish Orchestra of the 18th Century under the direction of Paul Esswood. Schola regularly participates in festivals, it has hosted, among others: the Reconstruction and Historical Festival "Bitwa pod Białystok", the Festival of Old Arts - Izabela Branicka's name day (annually), the 8th International Festival of Organ and Chamber Music named after Fr. The Schola periodically sings during Holy Masses celebrated in the extraordinary form of the Roman Rite as part of the Archbishop Edward Ozorowski in 2013 "Ministry of the Latin Tradition of the Archdiocese of Bialystok" singing Gregorian fixed and variable parts intended for Sunday celebrations of the Holy Mass.
