The Kadujo group of folk singers was founded in 2008.The women perform a variety of folklore, but the main purpose of this ensemble is to deepen the essence of the folk songs. The aim is to combine the relaxation of rehearsal with the acquisition of new experience by participating in various events, folklore and other festivals, traditional and non-traditional projects. "Kadujo has taken part in several international folklore festivals: "Atataria lamzdžiai" The festival has participated in several international festivals, including "Skamba skamba kankliai" in Kaunas, "Skamba skamba kankliai" in Vilnius, Lithuanian Song Festivals and others. Kadujo has also performed abroad - in Latvia, Poland and Turkey.
In 2014 Kadujo released its first CD "Aukseliu lingo, perlaliu mirgo". "Kadujo also participates in modern musical projects. The first attempt to do so was in 2011, when the Suklegos festival presented a programme of sutartinės and gongs, prepared together with gong player Raimonds Binkauskas. In 2015, a theatrical programme "Ričiau rotų", prepared together with multi-instrumentalist Giedrius Balbierias, was presented at Kaunas Chamber Theatre. In autumn 2015, a theatrical programme "Rasa krito..." was presented, featuring texts by A. Mickevičius. In 2016, Kadujo presented a Lithuanian folklore programme "Laumių suktinis" (Laumiai suktinis).The members of Kadujo play various folk music instruments (kanklės, skudučės, and other instruments), teach traditional dances, and folk crafts.
