Vilnius Choir is a professional ensemble with a culture of performance, versatility and educational activities. The choir tries to adapt the current artistic trends of today, while preserving the classical background of past eras. Special attention is paid to the dissemination of Lithuanian music, with annual premieres of works by contemporary Lithuanian composers, and some works reaching the recording studios. The newest Chief Conductor, Artūras Dambrauskas, a well-known choir conductor and pedagogue, offers modern creative directions combined with innovative and multifaceted programmes. The regularly performing ensemble aims to spread the culture of choral art and present its original project proposals.
