Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2003 (Instrumental Music Department, Saxophone major). Based on the techniques he developed in classical music, he freely moves between the worlds of pop, jazz, and world music, and his charm is blossoming in many areas. He has attracted attention for his planning, direction, and performances that go beyond the scope of concerts, such as writing and recording songs for a Muromachi period folding screen painted by Kano Eitoku, producing a concert called ``Listening to the National Treasure ``Uesugihon Rakuchu Rakugaizu byobu'','' screening a silent film with live music performed by silent narrator Sakamoto Yorimitsu, performing at the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale using the natural phenomenon of mountain echo, and performing and recording at ``Amane,'' where pure rice ginjo sake is aged by playing it to music. In addition to leading Chanchiki Tornado, his activities with Yasuaki Shimizu & Saxophonettes, Tokyo Chu-Tei-Iki, and Fukushima Hisao Group have been highly acclaimed abroad, and he performs at international music festivals in Europe and Asia every year. The film "Yellow Kid" (released in 2009, directed and written by Tetsuya Mariko), for which he composed and performed, won numerous awards at film festivals both in Japan and abroad. In March 2010, he released the CD "Listening to the National Treasure "Uesugi-hon Rakuchu Rakugaizu Folding Screen" by Suzuki Hiroshi Group and Yoko Oba.
