He was born in Tours (France) in 1971. He began his musical studies under the direction of his father, continuing them at the Valencia Conservatory of Music with Joaquín Vidal and perfecting them with Juan Bta. Abad, later going on to study with Gilles Millière at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique in Paris (France).He has won the Honor Prize in the middle and upper elementary grades of the Valencia Superior Conservatory of Music and the First Prize of the C.N.S.M. from Paris.With SPANISH BRASS Luur-Metalls, he has been awarded at the Spanish Musical Youth Competition and has won First Prize at the 6th Narbonne Metal Quintet Competition (France).
He has been a professor at the National Orchestra of Spain from 1993 to 1998.In 2005 he served as a jury at the Concours International de Musique de Chambre de Lyon (France) and the Concours International Philip Jones de Guebwiller (France).
Within the field of pedagogy and together with his colleagues from SPANISH BRASS Luur-Metalls has carried out courses and “master-classes” throughout Spain and abroad, highlighting those he has carried out for The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Georgia University (USA), The Goteborg Trumpet Guild (Sweden), Atlanta University (USA), Trumpet Lounge (Japan), The Showa School for Performing Arts (Japan), Dartington Summer School (England), Lieksa Brass Week (Finland), etc...Together with Carlos Gil he organizes and teaches classes in the Trombone Classroom.
Currently he dedicates himself exclusively to Spanish Brass Luur Metalls, touring around the world, making 14 CDs and a DVD; in addition to organizing the SBALZ Festival and the Spanish BrasSurround Torrent.
