children's writer, creator of therapeutic stories, trainer, founder of the early childhood education studio "Mamų dainos".
Inga is interested in how our feelings are influenced by the sounds and music around us. She believes that music educates the mind, heals and brings people together. While raising her own children, she looked into the effects of sounds on babies and was interested in ways to educate little ones. Inga Narijauskienė later applied what worked in her family in the educational studio she founded. She passes on her experience to other parents.
Inga Narijauskienė has been teaching various classes since 1999. She has also published three books of therapeutic fairy tales about Drulia the Owl. This character appeared when the author's children were very young. The owl tales were born both unexpectedly and in a well-thought-out way. Inga reacted to her children's behaviour and the things that happened to them, and adapted the stories accordingly.
Drulia the Owl never cries or scolds. She teaches in a different way. Inga Narijauskienė says that she wanted to publish books about the beloved family character for a long time, and when she founded the studio "Mamos dainos" (Mother's Songs) and was in regular contact with parents, she noticed that Drūlija would be a great help in one situation or another. This is how the Therapeutic Fairy Tales books were born.
Therapeutic Fairy Tales are playful stories with hidden messages for children. They reach children's minds, and they like what the characters teach much more than parental instructions. The author's fairy tales enrich vocabulary, develop imagination and creativity, and help to establish closer emotional ties.
Inga Narijauskienė has published four books of therapeutic fairy tales. The first one is "Drulia the Owl and the Day Not", which contains three stories. The first one is about a very common problem or "No Day" when children do not want to wash, eat or listen to their parents. The other three books by Inga Narijauskienė are "How Drulia the Owl Searched for Patience", "The Day Drulia the Owl was Bored" and "Drulia the Owl and the Yawns". Recommended by parents, educators and psychologists, the therapeutic tales are available for purchase online, so you can welcome the wonderful Drulia the Owl into your family!
