Born in Leningrad. In 1991 graduated from the theatrical production faculty (department of "theatrical costume") of the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography named after N.K. Cherkasov. In 1990-1995, as an assistant costume designer and costume designer, she worked with the Lenfilm movie studio. In 1995-2001 she was a costume design specialist at the Mariinsky Theatre, where she produced as a costume designer the productions Parsifal, The Queen of Spades and Le nozze di Figaro, and as a costume designer The Flying Dutchman and an authentic version of the ballet The Sleeping Beauty (author of the costume reconstruction by Ivan Vsevolozhsky). She created costumes for dramatic performances at the St. Petersburg Youth Theater on Fontanka. In 2001-2003 she worked at Moscow's New Opera Theater. Since 2003 she has been head of the artistic and costume department of the Bolshoi Theater. At the Bolshoi Theater she created costumes for the ballets "Corsair" (2007), "Esmeralda" (2009), the Bolshoi classical pas from the ballet "Paquita" (2008) using old sketches, and is the author of costumes for the ballets "Zakharova Superigra" (2009), "Jewels" (2012), "Hero of Our Time" (2015), "Don Quixote" (2016), "Ondine" (2016), performances of the New Choreography Workshop (2005, 2006, 2008), operas "Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District" (2004), "Wozzeck" (2009), "Ruslan and Lyudmila" (2011), "The Tsar's Bride" (2014). Constantly collaborates with the director and scenographer Dmitry Chernyakov, performing with him in tandem as a costume designer for productions at the Bavarian State Opera, Berlin State Opera, La Scala and La Monnaie theaters, German Opera on the Rhine, Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theater, Paris Opera, English National Opera, Dutch Opera, Zurich Opera, Hamburg Opera House, Metropolitan Opera, Barcelona's Teatro del Liceo, Mikhailovsky Theatre. She has designed costumes for ballet performances at the Yekaterinburg, Perm, Chelyabinsk and Astrakhan opera and ballet theaters.
