Drummer, producer and songwriter Jharis Yokley is an explosive force of nature whose work spans the hip hop, jazz, R&B and rock scenes. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Yokley graduated from the prestigious Berkeley College and studied with jazz greats Terri Lynne Carrington and Danilo Pérez. Once in Brooklyn, he quickly became an in-demand drummer, playing with artists such as Solange, Chance the Rapper, Ani DiFranco, Sleigh Bells, José James and DJ Premier. Yokley's drum videos have garnered worldwide attention and recognition from other drum masters including Questlove, Tony Royster Jr. and Jason McGerr. Vocalist, producer and drummer Jharis Yokley releases the first single "Move On" from his forthcoming debut album Sometimes, Late At Night. Produced by Yokley alongside José James, the track also features the synths of Japanese keyboard maestro BIGYUKI.
