In 2014, Joana was awarded a grant on behalf of the Minister of Culture, Š. Birutė, and was granted the status of artist-creator. In January of this year, she became a grantee in the SEM (Stichting Eigen Muziekinstrument) fund in the Netherlands. In February 2014, she was greatly honored in Madrid, Spain, receiving first place in the international chamber music competition "Concurso Iberico." In October 2013, Joana had a concert tour in the United States. In December of the same year, she performed a solo and chamber music program at the "Classique de édition la Madeleine Geneva" festival in Switzerland. Prior to that, in February 2013, she performed with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and French conductor Olivier Grangean in the C. Reinecke Concerto for Harp and Orchestra. Joana has been working with the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra since 2012-2013.
In 2012, the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaitė, awarded Joana for her high musical achievements and for promoting the name of Lithuania abroad. In 2011, she actively participated in the festivals "Sugrįžimai" and "First Baltic Harp Festival." In the same year, she took second place in the international chamber music competition "Concurso Iberico" (Madrid, Spain). In 2010, she participated in Erik Waardenburg's summer master classes (Egmond, Netherlands).
Joana has also received various awards, such as the thanks of the President and Government of the Republic of Lithuania, as well as the Grand Prix of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Classical Music Festival, the special prize "Miraculous Sounds of the Harp" (Moscow, Russia), and the audience award at the International Harp Competition in Lille (France). She was a grantee of the M. Rostropovich Fund "Help for Lithuanian Children" from 2005 to 2008. Joana has performed at the National Philharmonic, Kaunas Philharmonic, Klaipėda Concert Hall, Amsterdam Concertgebouw and other prestigious concert halls. She is also a member of the family ensemble "Regnum Musicale."
