Julija Reklaitė was Lithuanian Cultural Attaché in Italy (2015-2019). She has worked on various projects in the fields of architecture, cultural diplomacy, contemporary art and theatre. Since 2007, Reklaitė has worked as a freelance exhibition architect, collaborating with institutions and artists in Lithuania and abroad, and from 2009 to 2012, she was the head of the public institution Architecture Foundation. Recently, she has been a cultural project manager at the Lithuanian Chamber of Architects, and initiated the Black Box platform at the State Youth Theatre - an educational programme for young creatives. In 2019, she was also a commissioner of the Lithuanian Pavilion at the Milan Triennale, and in collaboration with the Vilnius Contemporary Art Centre, she realised the installation Manifold by artist Emilija Škarnulytė. Reklaitė defended her PhD in History and Theory of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture, VGTU. She is the author of various publications and articles, as well as the co-author and compiler of three books.
