Communications and marketing professional with nearly 15 years of experience in the arts and culture sector. Prior to becoming the Head of LRT KLASIKOS, Grickevičius worked at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre as Deputy Director and Head of the Marketing Department, at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, where he was responsible for the image, communication and marketing, and at the Vilnius Festival and the Vilnius Piano Music Festival.
Calling himself a lover of classical music and jazz, J. Grickevičius is currently also the head of the Lithuanian Jazz Federation and regularly cooperates with Vilnius Mama Jazz, Nida Jazz Marathon, Broma Jazz and other music festivals. Grickevičius has also worked with the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra and Kaunas Big Band. He has studied in Belgium, China, Germany and Austria. He also hosts radio and television programmes on LRT.
