Jūratė Kazakevičiūtė was born in Druskininkai, lives and works there. in 2000 completed his bachelor's studies in textile specialty at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. in 2002 received a Master of Arts degree. The artist's objects, soft sculptures and installations are presented not only in Lithuania, but also abroad: in 2009 "Nord ART" KIC, Budelsdorf, Germany and the Kaunas International Biennale "Living Approach"; in 2010 "Miniartextilcomo" in Como and Venice, Italy and the 3rd European Triennial of Textiles and Applied Art "Traditions and Innovations" at the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design in Riga; in 2011 Miniartextil à Montrouge in Paris, France.
