Jurgita Mieželytė's music is very varied in both instrumentation and compositional technique, ranging from symphonic scores (Lethesomnus) to intimate chamber works (Shadows, Tiltas). "For me, creation is most joyful when it is a living process that allows for experimentation, and experimentation is most fruitful when it takes place through collaboration and communication with the musicians," says the composer. Most of the composer's works have been created in collaboration with performers. Recently, Jurgita Mieželytė has been active as a composer of choral and theatre music.
