Justė Kazakevičiūtė is a pianist, songwriter, singer of sung poetry, popular and jazz music, and composer. She has been involved in music since childhood, playing guitar and piano for many years, and later decided to pursue a career as a pianist. She has developed her skills with various Lithuanian and foreign pianists, such as Prof. Artūras Anusauskas (Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre), and is still studying with the renowned Brazilian jazz pianist Eloà Gonçalves.
Although this is only her first evening of original music, Justė is already well-known to the audiences of festivals such as Purpurinis vakaras, Akacijų alėja, Nususigask - Tai Tai aš, Senamiesčio žiogas, Kai sirpsta vyšnios suvalkijoj, The singer has also appeared in various concerts in memory of Vytautas Kernagius and participated in the TV project "Song Song", where she performed Andrius Kulikauskas' song "
Gintarai", together with Česlovas Gabalis, she took the second place. Justė was also recently featured in the
Piano & Microphone series at Lukiškės Prison with Migloko.
Already during her studies, Justė Kazakevičiūtė has presented her own songs at various poetry concerts, travelling and performing all over Lithuania with the renowned composer and performer, Andrius Kulikauskas. She has also won the Vytautas Kernagis Foundation Prize in the Republican Singing Poetry Competition.
