Ilona Kaisu Sirviö (born 1954) is a visual artist and printmaker. She studied at the University of Arts and Sciences, majoring in printmaking. Sirviö's handprint on stone is very painterly, based on the large tonal range offered by his tool. Several of his works have their birthplace in the Helsinki Kivipaino. Sirviö's art objects are often impressions of nature.Erkki Anttonen writes: "Sirviö's way of working is spontaneously painterly, but at the same time the surprising rhythm and meandering of the lines give some of the images a feeling of oriental calligraphy. The broad tones are subtle and refined." (Stone, paper, print - lithography in Finland, 2017, Pro Litografia r.y)
