Born in Lithuania, Klaipėda. In 2003 graduated from Eduardas Balsis Gymnasium of Arts. In 2009 graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts with a Master's degree in painting. After her studies, she was awarded the Audience Prize of the Baltic competition "Young Painter" (2013). In 2014 she received an individual scholarship from the Ministry of Culture. Since 2015 she has been a member of the Lithuanian Artists' Union.
K. Ališauskaitė is a finalist of international competitions and participant of selective exhibitions. She is the first and only Lithuanian artist to be included in Thames & Hudson's 100 Painters of Tomorrow, a book of the world's 100 most promising painters currently working in the world.
Her works were exhibited in the MO Museum's exhibition Why is it so hard to love?, curated by Peter Greenaway and Saskia Boddeke. It is also included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art Lewben Art Foundation, Akzo Nobel and the Royal Family Collection of Abu Dhabi.
She has participated in international residencies such as Le Manoir-Centre d'art, France, Internationales Künstlerhause Villa Concordia, Bamberg, Germany, Warehouse 421, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Since 2007, she has been actively exhibiting in Lithuania and abroad. The artist's work has been presented at prestigious art fairs such as Artissima, Art Dubai, ArtLondon, Art Brussel, Art International Zurich, ArtVilnius, etc.
K. Ališauskaitė - Volungevičė's works are analysed and included in academic books on art (The Mask and the Face: Aspects of the History of the Image, 2020). The artist's work is also the subject of articles published in international art magazines such as The Art Newspaper, Art MAZ MAG, Echo Gone Wrong, Mojeh, ART MAZE MAGAZINE, etc.
