Kristina Žebrauskaitė-Šileikienė is the founder and leader of the chamber music ensemble "4TANGO," a music teacher, educational consultant, and member of the Honors Gallery at Linkaičiai Primary School in Joniškis. She was born on October 25, 1976, in the village of Maironiai, Joniškis district. Žebrauskaitė-Šileikienė graduated from Linkaičiai Elementary School in Joniškis in 1991 and from the accordion class at the Joniškis Children's Music School in 1993. She completed accordion studies at the Vilnius Conservatory in 1997 and received her master's degree from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2003. Žebrauskaitė-Šileikienė is a member of the Lithuanian Accordionists Association and the Lithuanian Musicians Union. She has been the head music teacher at Vilnius Martynas Mažvydas High School since 2006. Žebrauskaitė-Šileikienė is the leader of the "4TANGO" ensemble and actively participates in Lithuanian and international festivals with the collective. Her band performs with Lithuanian and foreign performers, she organizes projects and concerts, and records music for movies and theatrical performances. In addition, Žebrauskaitė-Šileikienė is a co-author and educational consultant of the "Increasing Learning Direction Opportunities for Students Aged 14-19" national project expert group. She is proud of the four compact discs released by the band and does not think the accordion is outdated. She also likes the instrument's cousin, the bandoneón. In 2007, Žebrauskaitė-Šileikienė played the role of a musician in Shakespeare's play "The Tempest," and in 2008, she organized the International Accordion Festival in Vilnius.
