Lina Dambrauskaitė is a soprano born in Klaipėda in 1992. She graduated from the master's program in vocal performance at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, choosing Prof. Sigutė Stonytė as her mentor. Since September 2017, Lina has been a trainee at the Royal Academy of Music's opera studio in London. As a student, she participated in various festivals and competitions, becoming a laureate of the Birutė Almonaitytė Young Singers Festival-Competition twice (in 2007 and 2010), winning third place in the Vincė Jonuškaitė-Zaunienė competition in 2013 and becoming a laureate of the same competition in 2016. L. Dambrauskaitė has performed with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, and the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, working with the country's most famous conductors, composers, and other performers. She has also toured in Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Macedonia, and South Korea. Since 2011, she has participated in the production of the contemporary opera "Geros dienos" (composer - Lina Lapelytė), which has toured in China, the United States, France, and Russia. L. Dambrauskaitė regularly participates in various projects and festivals. In July 2015, she was one of Lithuania's cultural representatives at the World Expo 2015 in Milan. L. Dambrauskaitė made her debut as Barbarina in W. A. Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in 2015 and toured with the theater troupe in Israel. She also performed the role of Thais in G. F. Handel's oratorio "Alexander's Feast" (LNOBT), the role of Yniold in C. Debussy's opera "Pelléas et Mélisande" (Vilnius City Opera), the role of Semele in G. F. Handel's opera "Semele" (Baroque Opera Theatre), the role of Frasquita in the electronic opera based on G. Bizet's music "E-Carmen" (Vilnius City Opera), and created the role of Lady Gigaks in J. Juzeliūnas' opera "The Game". The young soloist is constantly offered to participate in sacred and symphonic works in soprano parts - J. S. Bach's St. John Passion, F. Schubert's Mass No. 6 in E-flat major, G. Mahler's Symphony No. 4. In March 2017, Lina was invited as a chamber orchestra soloist for the concert "Exsultate, jubilate" conducted by Georg Marko.
