Lina Žilinskaitė, born in 1994, began her musical studies in 1999 at the Kaunas A.Kačanauskas Music School in the Pop Singing class with teacher J.Miliauskaitė. In 2000, she also began studying Kanklės with teachers J.Mykolaitytė and J.Senkutė, while simultaneously taking classes in solo singing with teachers J.Krūvelienė and G.Jakelaitytė. She continued her Kanklės studies at the Juozas Gruodis Conservatory in Kaunas from 2010 to 2013 with teachers I.Spalinskaitė and L.Naikelienė, and also pursued a singing course with teacher B.Sodaitytė.
In 2017, Lina Žilinskaitė earned a Bachelor's degree in Kanklės Performance and Pedagogy with Professor L.Naikelienė and went on to obtain a Master's degree in Kanklės Performance with J.Daunytė in 2019. She has further developed her skills by participating in international festivals, music camps, and projects including the AGATOS Music Performers and Creators camp from 2012 to 2015, an ERASMUS exchange program at the Sibelius Academy of Music in 2016, and the "Open Opus" masterclasses at the National School of Stage Arts in Denmark, also in 2016.
She has been working as an independent performer at various events and concerts since 2013 and began her career as a Kanklės teacher in 2020.
