Ludovico Pace was born in Rome and grew up there as well as in Paris. At the age of nine, he received his first ballet lessons at the Académie Chaptal in Paris, one year later he moved to the ballet school of the Paris Opera and completed his education at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris and at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart.
In the 2008/09 season he received his first engagement at the Stuttgart Ballet. Here his personal repertoire also included solo roles in pieces such as Sleeping Beauty (Marcia Haydée), Gaité Parisienne (Maurice Bejart), Krabat and Salome (Demis Volpi), La Sylphide (Peter Schaufuss), Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, Der Widerspenstigen Zhmung and Initialien R.B.M. (E (John Cranko), Leonce and Lena (Diute)The Second Detail Choreographers such as Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Bridget Breiner, Edward Clug and Marco Goecke have also created roles for him. In 2016, Marco Goecke engaged him as an assistant for a new creation at the John Cranko School. This became a permanent working partnership. Since 2018, Ludovico Pace has been helping to study Marco Goecke's pieces. This work has already taken him to the Opéra National de Paris, to the Greek National Ballet, to the Ballet Nuremberg and others.
