Mind, as I see it, is a way of thinking, and the ability to articulate abstract ideas into personal experiences. Visual literation / volumetric expression in my work are tools that allow these experiences to emerge and be shared. Creation is the ability to see and solve problems, and the artwork as a cultural and social boundary marker indicates the process.
In my work I strive for a harmony between archetypes and the everyday, and I look for the expression of symbols of the collective consciousness that are translated into the contemporary context. The mythological, paradoxical or animalistic elements used in the work do not act as illustration but as reference, providing the perceiver of the work with meaningful points of reference. The themes in the works vary depending on the situation, but are mainly focused on man's encounter with his time. I use various forms of artistic expression, graphics, photography, animation, but most often I create sculpture, because it destroys the boundary between what an object "is" and what it "means".
