Maria Bondarenko was born in Lvivska Obl, Ukraine. He now lives in Italy. He has a diploma from a private music school, a diploma from the music secondary school at the Filaretto Kolessa Institute in Lviv, singing and piano diplomas from the Mikola Lysenko Conservatory in Lviv.
While still a student at the conservatory, in 1988, she participated in a youth opera singing competition and won first place. In 1990, he successfully participated in the Kyiv Songwriters Competition.
