Marija Mirovskaja was born in Kharkiv (Ukraine). Her first performance with a symphony orchestra took place when she was only 11 years old. In 2000, Marija graduated from the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, and in 2002 the same institution confirmed her as a performing pianist when she completed her residency. Marija's first performance as a soloist took place when she was just 14 years old. Since 1998, working with the Moscow State Academic Philharmonic, Marija participated as a soloist and ensemble member in Moscow "Classica-Ensemble" (a wind quintet with piano) and the chamber orchestra "Ekselent." Marija regularly participates in international music festivals, collaborating with contemporary Russian and Ukrainian composers. Since September 2011, Marija has been living in Vilnius and working as a professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater. Marija participates in various concerts abroad, representing Lithuania.
