she is a laureate of the National Bali Dvarion Competition, as well as a prize winner at the Volodymyr Krainev Young Pianists Competition in Ukraine and the Otar Taktakishvili International Competition in Georgia. She has performed at various festivals in Lithuania, Germany and Ukraine, and developed her skills by participating in master classes with Gintars Januševičius, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, William Fong, Ralf Nattkemper and others.Ms. Kurhuzova has received a scholarship from the Yeshchenko Music Foundation, as well as grants in partnership with the Vere Music Foundation (Ukraine). The pianist is from Kharkiv, where she studied at the Kharkiv State Music Lyceum with Natalia Skrebtsova. Now she lives in Kaunas and studies at the Academy of Music of Vytautas Magnus University, in the class of Justos Dvarions.
