For the past few years, I have been interested in the topic of cultural ecology, not as a green activist, but from the position of “Do we need even one more painting?”. I explore this aspect using graphic art as a tool. I have participated in more than 70 group exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad, and have organized about 10 solo performances. But at this stage of my life, I feel, perceive and accept joint exhibitions, projects, actions, creative workshops, planned and not entirely controllable events as more meaningful and multifaceted than personal performances. When you are in context – you learn, you share, you receive, i.e. change the world. No no, not as a god, but more as a conscious being. And bowing my head before my greatest life teacher, sister Corita Kenta (1918-1986), I second her: we can create a life without war. That is what I wish for! 1995-2001 Master of Arts in Graphic Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Vilnius Academy of Arts. Since 2011 Member of the Graphics Section of the Lithuanian Artists' Union (LDS).
