Marija Žakelytė is a Master of Arts in Piano Solo Performance of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (Prof. R. Rikterė's class). Currently, the pianist is studying the second master's degree at Prof. N. Ralytė's concertmaster class. Marija Žakelytė is a regular trainee with Prof. M. Rubackytė, Prof. A. Žlabio, Prof. In the master classes of P. Geniuš and other famous Lithuanian and foreign performers. Marija Žakelytė is a laureate of International and National competitions. Among them, the International competition - festival "Music without borders" should be mentioned, in which the pianist became the 2nd place laureate (I vt. not assigned) and was awarded a special prize - the opportunity to perform with St. Christopher's Orchestra of St. Catherine's Church, where he performed W.A. Mozart's concert no. 13 C major.In addition to active concert and study activities, the pianist has been doing pedagogical work for many years, the results of which are reflected in the student concerts she organizes.
