Márta Ladjánszki studied classical ballet, gymnastics, jazz and contemporary dance in Budapest and Vienna. In 1996 she co-founded the contemporary dance company KOMPmÁNIA, where she worked both as a performer and co-creator. In 2001, she joined the L1 Association and has been its Deputy Artistic Director since then. As a freelance choreographer and dancer in Budapest, Márta Ladjánszki is constantly looking for opportunities to present her work in the field of contemporary dance to those who are open and interested in her work and her views on the human body.
Márta's inspiration comes directly from her own body, and she transforms her inner thoughts into visible bits of information. Ladjánszki firmly believes that we are all different (not only physically) and that this makes our lives richer. That's why she celebrates the body in each of her works.
