Biography
Martynas Ivinskas is an artist who is not concerned with form or tools. He is completely free and portrays his reality through whatever he has at the moment. He creates painting-like figures on coffee bags and people and musical instruments on various maps, emphasizing and highlighting the lines, vectors, and trajectories that only he can see. He creates objects that are not quite sculptures, collages, or paintings but rather a mix of all three. His art is harmonious and chaotic, abstract and objectified at the same time. Ivinskas has had solo exhibitions all around Lithuania and internationally in California, United States. He has also participated in numerous group exhibitions throughout the world, including The Sketchbook Project in New York City and the exposure award in Paris, France.
