Mikhail Kozyrev is a man who played one of the main roles in the formation and development of the rock scene in the post-Soviet space. Music journalist, TV presenter, media manager, producer - this is not all, thanks to which he has become one of the most influential people in the musical environment. Kozyrev was at the origin of cult radio stations Maximum and Ultra, Our Radio, Maxidrom, Invasion and Chart Dozen. Thanks to him, the soundtrack of the movie "Brother-2" appeared, which became an important phenomenon for the entire generation of young people who survived the 90s. Mikhail was also the host and producer of the Dožd TV channel's music broadcast since its inception.In many ways, it was at his suggestion that BI-2, Zemfira, Spleen, Night Snipers, Agata Kristi, Chicherina and dozens of other artists appeared on the musical horizon and became big stars, who eventually became on opposite sides of ideological barricades after February 24, 2022.
